An Evaluation of the 2022-2023 Idaho Out-of-School Network OST Enrichment & Idaho Community Program Grants

Hispanic child smiling with a lunch trayThis brief summarizes evaluation findings from ION’s OST Enrichment & Idaho Community Program Grant Programs for the 2022-23 school Year. Idaho Out-of-School Network (ION), Idaho Commission for Libraries, and Idaho STEM Action Center developed a unique partnership to support out-of-school time (OST) programs focused on mitigating lost school time and unfinished learning for youth in Idaho, using funds from the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) grant program authorized under the American Rescue Plan Act. ION and partners commissioned the Utah Education Policy Center to evaluate this work to determine the value of programs implemented and partnerships born from this investment in Idaho.
