The UEPC worked with Utah’s Office of Child Care in the Department of Workforce Services to complete this Early Childhood Services Study, which was required by 2017 General Session S.B. 100. The study categorizes programs, services, and resources for children ages 0-5 and their families in Utah into the areas of Family Support and Safety, Health and Development, Early Learning, and Economic Stability. The study also identifies leading indicators in each of these domains and gives a high-level summary of the needs and gaps in services in Utah.
